About FDI
FDI it´s a holding dedicated to develop content fo internet mobile. Evolution of telecomunications in a few years will allow millions of persons to access internet through their mobiles handsets, at FDI we are focus on application and games content generation, social media engagement and geolocalization, basic type of content for this era. FDI dedicates sustancial part of funds into smaill companies and areas that consider key for industry content to develop. FDI supports it´s cost structure providing consultantcy services to companies that are part of the holding or third parties as long as there are strategic synergies for FDI. We provide training for enterprenuers and investors, our business center is specialized on internet, mobile and technology and we offer consultant services on capital expansion, entrance to international markets and company selling interests.
Jorge Mata. Jorge Mata founded MyAlert in 1999, a company focused on designing and
implementing wireless alert services to mass market. In 2001 MyAlert merged with
Buongiorno, an Italian public company. He acted as Vice chairman in Buongiorno untill
the company went public in 2003. Jorge is also founder and Chairman of Berggi Inc, and Zipclip Inc, focused in
developing mobile 2.0 for the mass market which has recently sold to an
American group. Jorge’s last start up is shiver technologies, a location based online
games company. Jorge has been a Board member of public and private companies
in Sillicon Valley, Finland and Spain and is an active an investor in more than 15 start
ups. He is currently President of FDI, a company dedicated to the development of
Mobile Internet content. Prior to his entrepreneurial activities, Jorge worked at AT&T& Bell Laboratories,
McKinsey & Co., Banco Santander and Broadvision. Jorge has been appointed technology pioneer twice by the Davos World Economic
Forum in 2001 and 2002. Jorge Mata holds an MS in Physics from Universidad
Autonoma (Madrid), and an MBA from New York University.
